No Plastic Wads Allowed

If you are bringing your own cartridges to our open shoots, then please check that they are ALL fibre wads because no plastic wads are allowed on our Ground.

We have noticed a lot of plastic wads about which means some shooters are not respecting the Ground rules so please make sure to check your cartridges. It will say on the box if they are plastic wads.

You may be asked to show that you have only fibre wad cartridges when you come to shoot. If you are in doubt, please buy cartridges at the cashdesk.

Apart from helping to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our rivers and the sea, plastic wads pose a danger to birds and other wildlife as well as our horses, which roam the Grounds when we are closed.
